Overview
The project
Flooring365 was a large Magento 2 eCommerce build containing more than 10,000 products. The catalogue had a substantial number of product attributes and needed functionality designed specifically around the flooring purchase journey.

Custom flooring calculator
A custom product-page calculator makes it easier for customers to work out how much flooring they need. Customers enter the area they want to cover, and the site uses the product's coverage information and custom logic to calculate the number of packs, the quantity and the resulting price.

The catalogue also supports free flooring samples, with customers paying the relevant shipping charge. This required a specific product and checkout configuration within the store.
