API and CRM integrations

Integration work connects your website to the systems the business already runs on, so data moves once instead of being retyped. It suits businesses where orders, enquiries or product data are copied by hand between a website, a CRM and an accounting or fulfilment system.

When this helps

Problems this solves

  • Orders or enquiries retyped from the website into another system.
  • A CRM with incomplete records because nothing feeds it automatically.
  • An integration that fails silently and nobody notices for a week.
  • Two systems that disagree about stock or pricing.

Scope

What's included

Every quote lists the deliverables in writing, so there is no ambiguity about what you receive.

Deliverables

  • Integration design: systems involved, direction of sync, frequency and triggers.
  • Field-level data mapping agreed before any code is written.
  • Authentication and credential handling kept server-side.
  • The integration build itself, including retries and idempotent handling where relevant.
  • Error handling, logging and an alert route so failures are visible.
  • Monitoring arrangement and documentation of the whole flow.

Not included as standard

  • Third-party API limits, downtime and pricing are outside my control and stated up front.
  • Where a system has no API or export, I will say so rather than build something fragile.

Anything here can be added to the scope and priced separately.

Process

How the work runs

  1. Step 1

    Map

Agree systems, fields, source of truth and failure behaviour.

  2. Step 2

    Prototype

Prove the connection on test data before building fully.

  3. Step 3

    Build

Implement with retries, logging and safe credential handling.

  4. Step 4

    Monitor

Set up alerts, document the flow and hand over.

What I need from you

  • API access or credentials for each system, created in your own accounts.
  • Agreement on which system is the source of truth for each field.
  • A test environment or test records where available.

What changes the price

  • Number of systems and directions of sync.
  • Field count and transformation complexity.
  • API quality, rate limits and authentication model.
  • Whether monitoring and ongoing support are included.
